Ive got a problem with mine, ive read and been told I have two color choices...........rio red or (hope I spell this right) varmillion red, so any input here. Oh yea Ive checked the paint code and its listed on some sites as rio, but the shop that does my body work said its the V word. I havent got to do any work on the body yet but when I do I need to know the correct color of my damn car
Great Post. I was also wondering if there was another owner on this board with a Sapphire Blue Stang. They only made 2,584 Sapphire blue ones in 95. I ran met a guy who had one but that's the only other one I have ever seen other than mine.
E8 its listed as Rio Red, but when I called my body man he said his book has it as varmillion red..........I called the ford body shop here in town he said varmillion red also, but why is it NOT listed as a paint choice in any of the mustang paint codes and choices?
Like is an understatement... i feel it to be my duty to show the world why white is the best color in the universe... plus we ALL know its the fastest... haha (by the way... white is in SECOND PLACE)
Thats weird, maybe they just gave it a special name for mustangs, so it seemed like we were getting a different paint then all the taursus and escorts. But yea, its definetly rio red then if its E8.
Now its at 27% for the black =D Hey im new to the forums guys, I was referred by Matt himself whom im guessing is the owner of this forum?... Looks like an awesome forum. I just got my black 1998 Cobra about 2.5 weeks ago. It is alll stock with 87k miles on her. I dont plan on doing major mod's to it (i know everyone says that but well see if I can stay true to it). Right now i just want to do some wheels, lowering, exhaust, basic bolt on if that.. Maybe down the road, a SC and some engine work but im in no hurry for that. Just a little about myself, im 17 and for the past 2.5 weeks ive been perfecting my shifting and clutch work (never drivin a stick before this car). Heres something funny for you guys, my mom was the first to teach me because my was playing in a golf tournament... lets just say I never got rolling that day. Then the next day my dad taught me and I was cruisin around in 30 minutes =D. I dont want to bash on my mom though, she tried to teach me, and she is reallly good at driving a stick but she can't teach it worth anything. Anyways, since then ive gotten pretty good at the stick and I loveeeee driving it. Any of you guys live in Texas? Let me know. Thanks for showin me the forums Matt! Ill definitly be on here daily.
Because we all know black is fastest! TxCobrA98- I remember when i first started driving stick and my dad took me out for a cruise I shifted it into 5 instead of 3rd : Almost stalled it & the RPM's were WELL below IDLE. haha. Jeremy PS-WElcome
Damn black cars. I learned how to drive stick on a cushman tractor when I worked at the golf course. That was some funny shit. That was also where I learned how to do burnout with a manual, how to start it by dropping the clutch while rolling and how to power shift lol, gave those tractors a real beating.
