They tried to grind it down, but realized it wasn't part of the hub after grinding it.. so they took a hammer to it and it popped right off. . Whatever it was ... wasn't allowing the rim to sit flush on the hub. So it couldve caused a serious accident if the rim was to split from the pressure the spacer or whatever was left on the hub. The foreign metal peice was pressed on there for some reason. Thanks</blockquote>
