Okay i just rechecked it.

It moved left right.. up and down.

Barely up and down, but there is enough play to be concerned. Yet no howling from the bearing.

Hm.... looks like its time for a spindle(they sell the whole spindle, not just bearings) or caster-camber plate, or strut... or its the tie rods.

Well im getting the noise a car makes when the ball joint is going out. Its not bad as my 97 GT was, but its a scheechy scheechy noise. I wonder if my hub bearing is okay then.

OKAY guys. This is a big decision i need answered before tomorrow:
What would happen if i remove the x2 steeda ball joints for OEM ball joints. I can't get these local and i need my car everyday lol.

So am i harming anything going back to standard ball joints?

Jack the ****** up and ACTUALLY STICK YOUR HEAD IN THERE BEHIND THE WHEEL OR GET A FRIEND WITH A LIGHT AND 20/20 VISION while you wiggle the suspect tire and SEE if you can see the ball joints moving. IF that doesn't work....LOOK AROUND!!! Take about 20 minutes to analyze every potential moving and or wear part. Ball joints, tie rodends...etc. THEN, take the wheel off....grab the wheel studs....can you see the movement? WHILE YOU DO IT....watch the WHOLE spindle. Moral of this story is, there are only a handful of parts you gotta check. Rather than asking a MILLLION questions, Check the parts yourself BEFORE you ask and BEFORE you spend money.

Took the car to a performance shop and it turned out there was a foreign metal thingie spacer left on the driver wheel hub bearing piece MAYBE from a previous owner. They tried to grind it down, but realized it wasn't part of the hub after grinding it.. so they took a hammer to it and it popped right off. . Whatever it was ... wasn't allowing the rim to sit flush on the hub. So it couldve caused a serious accident if the rim was to split from the pressure the spacer or whatever was left on the hub. The foreign metal peice was pressed on there for some reason.

Thanks
