What product should I make?

hey guy, I'm taking design and fabrication at my school and its all about like CNC machines and such. I an see myself doing this as a career... but anyways, I have to do a project where I have to make something and present it to a person that comes in and inspects it and so on. I was thinking about those wire holders for spark plug wires because the one's I found are super expensive. So anyways, I have easy access to the machines and was wondering what other types of car products I could make and sell. I think the wire holders would be pretty popular because not many of reasonably priced, good looking ones are made. So let me know your ideas!! Thanks you :headbang:

WIRE HOLDERS ARE SO EXCITING!!! :sleepy1:... ahaha jk but seriously do something a little more extreme like a cool shift knob, or a running horse for the grill, or a throttle body/ plenum .... i dunno anything that will make the ppl looking it over say, "wow thats cool i know what thats for".. not, "what is that??oh wire holders hmmmm......"

Ya know, I was thinking the exact same thing. Its just that I need em for my dad's car, so yeah. I need something that won't cost 10000 dollars to make... it needs to be cool, marketable, and it should be able to impress my friends so I can make more cool stuff. I'd go with something a little more trick than wire holders unless you can do them some off-the-wall way. They wouldn't take very long at all to whip up in CAD. A few circles, lines, and trim and bam! Do something COOL!

ok take a peice of sheet metal and cut out our running horse design

be alittle more detailed then just a blank hole in the metal like some shadow lines ... maybe make it mess ...idk its just dif besides a bland horse or a billet grill

what is your medium? if its aluminum, there are plenty of things you could make as said. make an intake plaque. or custom center caps.

I like the idea of a custom shift handle. similar to the Hurst T-handle but with Mustang inset instead of Hurst.

how about a custom radiator cover with horses cut in instead of our plastic ones. I like the idea of a shifter. hell do some valve covers with spark plug wire holders attached on them
