I'm at a crossroad with my car i have a stock 02 pi motor in my shed waiting to go the car i was waiting on my headers, cam and intake some other parts before install i wanted to get my moneys worth out of the pi kit but i ran it to a classified with a guy selling a DOHC 4.6 Lincoln Mk vlll with everything still on the motor to just drop in to my car he was going to do the same but changed his mind and he just wants to get rid of it real cheap :BangHead: :dontknow:

grab it also. break the engine down and see whats underneath the curtains. if its worth a damn, use it and sell the pi stuff to get cobra intake manild and port the heads. theyres some hidden potential.

Ide got DOHC, as long as the engine is in decent shape.

I'm thinking the same way the motor is in good shape the guy lives here in town motor has 80k and it comes with trans ecu harness cobra manifolds and its teskid block i figured all the two valve guys would tell me to stay pi that's good that other people think the same

i would never spend money for b heads unless my car would see forced induction, and my car will never see a power adder so. As far as the block goes they are pretty specific and can be pretty picky about tear down procedure.

yeah i know its a new world but the new world cost too much the 99 and up dohc motor are still to high for me and this motor is in my price thanks for all the comments
