No.

It's very minimal..maybe 1-2 HP if that. 1.7's are just gonna help rev faster really..

I know that the hp gain is minimal when going from 1.6-1.7's. But if you're buying pedestal mount rockers anyway, why not step up to 1.7's??? I've always liked (and used) the Cobra rockers from Crane. They're pretty cheap too. :thumbsup:

i was told that depending on cam you could loose some power at lower rpm. i would stick with 1.6
