What spark plugs are you boosters using?

What plugs do I need to run after I install a Supercharger? I'm using those 4 prong Bosch Iridium plugs now. I'm wondering if the 4 prong design will help them keep from causing detonation?

I use motocraft copper top, 2 steps colder, gapped at .030


You should use 1 or 2 steps colder, copper plug, gapped pretty tight

Autolite copper plug.

I would not use anything other than a copper plug with a Supercharger.

Autolite 102's KISS Iridium and platinum plugs will melt.

On one of my cars i have NGK TR6's and on the other Autolite 103's gapped at .038 with an MSD 6AL... With no msd gap them at .030...

Ok, I'll go with what you guys are running. Something copper and a tighter gap. I'll be done with the Powerdyne a 6BTM install this evening.

That's what I ran, but @ .30. I've only read that platinum breaks down, but I didn't want to be the test case, lol.

How important is the smaller gap? The Autolite tech guy I talked to said to stick with the stock gap when using the 103.

NGK TR-6 (4177) gapped at .35

That's what Kenne Bell told me to put in so that's what I use.

damn this is old but o well , NGKTR8S .. thats what my shop told me to get for my H/C/I novi2k
