Normally if you go from a automatic to 5spd, you can use the computer no problem, but if you go from 5 spd to automatic, you have to change it. Thats the rules with 5.0s, and these cars arent really any different. Realize if your transmission harness has the plugs for automatic, and you swap in a stick, which will just use reverse lights and a couple solenoids, those shift wires will be inopperable. 5spd swap cars havent ever had a problem with a using the stock computers.</p></blockquote><p></p>
