which cam and rockers?

i am debating on which rockers and cam to use. my car currently has an e cam in it. i have some gt40p heads that i am doing some slight port work to, getting some trick flow springs, and putting on my edelbrock performer 5.0 intake manifold. if i keep the e cam i will put some 1.7 rockers in it. if i go with an x cam i will sell my e cam and get some 1.6 roller rockers. i have read that the p heads need duration to work good. i think the e cam would sound a little better because it would have more duration. i figured the x would be to much for the p heads too but this is my first 5.0 to build and not really sure what works.
i also thought about putting in a trick flow cam #TFS-51402000. they would have to be ran with 1.6 rockers.
i plan to put a vortech supercharger on the car within a year.

Keep the E-Cam, enjoy the car and drive it. The E-cam does well with a blower..you'll have good success.

BTW, the X-Cam is waaaaaaaaaay to much for a basic small block 302.

just to get the facts straight the E cam does not have more duration than the X cam, I thought the X cam was bigger though it doesn't seem that large.

I'd keep the E cam for your setup also, it will work better with your heads.

i dont think he works for them anymore. i might be wrong but i think he is on his own. ill pm you his phone if you want it he will answer any question you have on your combo. just give it a try you dont have to buy a cam he will still help you.
