which intake would be better?

After my recent dyno tune I've come to the conslusion that my intake is choking my motorw (streetheat). I know I can get more out of it ith a bigger intake and shorter runners to let my cam work alll the way up to 6200 like advertised. The street heat dies off at 5500 rpms. My two options for intakes are twapping uppers to a track heat or my buddy has a victor junior ported for a 90mm throttle body just sitting in his garage. So my question is, Which option would be best for my combo?

Well a) its a stock block that's why no r.
B)my tuner who's one of the best 302 tuners in the country swears by the rpm 2 or victor jr on a sbf.
C) I can get a victor jr for cheap or swap an upper for free.

i see. im getting a deal on my holley systemax 2 it come off my buddies fox. id go with which ever you tuner says to go with. i plan to boost mine that why im also going with the holley since they say its one of the best for boost

Hey Brian, as much as I would like to trade with you and get back my lost hp and tq I think Lidio is right. He tried talking me into a eddy2 but I already had the TF1 so went the cheep route and just got the TF2 upper. and well you know the rest. He has been doing this for 20yrs now and always advises in the best intrest of the customer. plus the eddy2 will be all the intake you will need for future mods. just keep checking c-list and the fourms. But 1'st and 4most make sure you have all the bugs out b4 you go for a retune.

What exactly do you mean by eddy 2? I take its an edelbrock model of some sort. Also why won't the trick flow R intake work on a stock block?

intake to big would have no power on the low end and would have to rev it pretty high for it to be usefull

^ that's what I was under the impression of. i've gotta go tkae a look at his intake here soon. I'd have to run the 90* elbow with it then to another elbow to keep my throttle right?

been a while since i updated last but here's what i've got:
his intake is a victor 5.0 upper and lower with the opening ported out to work with a 90. I'd be keeping my trickflow elbow and 75mm t/b and probably getting the manifold powdercoated to match. Is a victor 5.0 going to be too much intake for my combo?
