Which Rims?

Can any1 tell me which rims would look better on a 98 mustang 95 cobra rims or 2000 cobra rims it would help me in making my desicion im getting chrome rims and car color is white.

I personally like the 95 Cobra R's better than the 2000 Cobras.

I just don't think the '00's look very good, but people also think I'm nuts because of that.

95 Cobra R's would look great on your car though.

from an distance cobra r's look funny. If you look @ them from the right distance than they look good.

i have a white 98 gt and ive settled on 18x9 18x10.5 black fr500s....think that would look sweet on your white stang! :thumb:

Hey all you wheel app experts! Anyone have input on 05-08 gt wheel on my 95 seex? 6.87 back spacing 50mm offset 18x8.5.
Do I need spacers? do I need anthing else?

05 wheels on an SN car will make tires sink in badly...


im saying 2000 R wheels because im tired of seeing 95 R's... they are everywhere

plus they are 18's and wider

but the tires for the 95's will be cheaper if that matters

wider tires/wheels can cause bumpsteer problems too, i would look into a set of 98 cobra wheels.. same 17x8 as all cobra wheels (94-01), and cheaper tires. i like the 00r's, if you get painted (silver). they look good on white... go to tirerack.com and play with the wheel fit page, put your color in, and click on the wheels, it should help you decide. plus with it being a v6, id want the lighter wheels, for less unsprung weight... helps it stay lighter on its feet

I'd say the 2000 R wheels.

But 2003 SVT Cobra wheels look great on an SN95. That's just my personal opinion though.

i like the Stock GT split spoke 5's

its what i put on my DD V6 and its looks great... car is Chrome Yellow

but between those 2... both look good, 95 is played out but it all depends on what you wanna spend on tires

265-285 18's cost a bit more than 275 17's

and it was said above but if you like the 95 look, get some 98 Cobra wheels, same style and only a 245 tire... if your on a budget

I like the '03 Cobras better than the 95R and 00R wheels. They are still 17s and can hold a wider tire if you want plus like mentioned they look awesome on SN95s. If you're only interested in the R wheels though 95R > 00R.
