I have an 02 GT Convertible and 01 Cobra coupe that I am building. The speakers, amps, and HUs will be the same. The subs will be slightly different. Both cars are getting Morel Tempo Ultra Components, Pioneer Headunits, Diamond Audio D600.4s for the highs and D1000.1s for the subs. Now, I have currently have two sets of D310s (one set 4ohm DVC, one set 2ohm DVC). However, I just bought the badboy D610 4ohm DVC (pair) that have been sitting new in boxes. I am going to run the 4ohm DVCs as I can wire them with the D1000.1 to show a 1ohm load and the amp will handle it without issues. It is 1ohm stable as I have done it already. The question is, do I put the D610s in the coupe or convertible. The D310s rock and the D610s are supposed to make them sound like garbage.
