I still don't understand why you need anything from the Lightning column

That thing is sick.... There is a guy putting one into a 94-98 body and then there is a guy over on SVTP that took a viper motor and put it in a 94-98... Called it project Sniper :)

You never see the L Motor in Sn95s it always the New Edges

I've seen it four times, one member right on this board has it done.

I'm still not understanding the Lightning column question though.

i think that he might be thinking if you transfer the motor with the trans then you would transfer the column shifter instead of the floor shift, but you wouldnt have to transfer the lightning trans

That's what I thought too, I just don't understand the question itself really, but I think you got it.

The Lightning motor will bolt to the Mustang's trans.

Sorry to bring back a dead thread but J.R would it bolt to the t-45/t-5 or just the 4r70w?

They are both the same bellhousing. The T45 and 4r70w that is, there aren't any stock modular pattern T5's, until 2005 and that just get's all confusing.
