whats the general consensus on these? will be going on a 4.2l, what can be expected? how does flow compare to ssms port and polished upper intake?

it has been said that they outflow ported stock intakes.

they get a thumbs-up in all applications

windstar intake was fords way of saying they dont give a fuck about mustangs anymore in the 90's. do it.

nice. windstar it is then. are certain years better then others, or are they all the same? the fuel rails on them are return style right?

Isn't funny how the stock explorer/windstar intakes flow better than the stock mustang intakes on both the v8's and the v6's.

fuel rail doesnt matter since the windstar is just the upper intake.

Actually it does, cause i need one. Engine is going into a 96 SN95.

nothing, i was refering to the fuel rails on the windstar.

eta. yes, i need a return style, the returnless of new edge mustang won't work.

You need the split port cylinder heads also. From what I gather you have to do a split port swap, then you can use the windstar intake with some modification, (or buy a kit from vmp).
