Hey everyone haven’t posted in a while I’m still working on my project.
Switching to the split port from the single port obviously you have to make some adjustments to the wiring harness.

As I’ve said I want this project to look as close to factory as possible.

Right now it’s an untangled mess.

first thing, cut out all the butt/crimp connectors and solder/marine heat shrink them or install waterproof harnesses. Those connectors do not keep water out and will eventually cause problems that will be a royal pain to sort out.

after that you can use the convoluted tubing like was factory but personally I like the look of techflex better. Be sure after cutting the end to melt it with a lighter so it does not unwrap.

Appreciate the advice, the crimps are temporary so I could get the exact length on the wire for each sensor to do that I had to undo the insulation on the harness and the fuel injector connectors
I’m going to buy new fuel injector connectors.

The wires zip tied on the cowl again temporary to get exact length on all wires.

It’s a bit of waste of crimp zip ties and wire to get exactly everything correct but ounce every thing is routed to exact length I’ll remove the main harness and solder and insulate the connections on my work bench rather than solder all connections in the engine bay of the car where it would be more difficult.

I prefer a wrap or two of electrical tape over wire ties myself to hold the wires together. It is cleaner and the ties can get hung up when trying to pull it through tight areas
