I got a 95 Gt mustang with some bolt on's and 115xxx on the clock. The motor is basically stock with the exception of a few bolt ons. Im wondering about a super charger kit. How much boost could i run on the motor with out it blowing up? What sorta power would I expect? Is it best to tear down the block and put forged rods and pistons in it?

My 95 is stock. But i would think forging would be a good idea if you can do it. Ask ryclef about the s/c. He is 5.0 moderator. He will know if you can and all the info you need.

depends on how well maintained it was, but i would think 12lbs MAXIMUM!! and to be safe less than 10.

I had right at the same miles when I put my blower on. (I went with 9lbs of boost) The lower end of the motor handled it great, but 6 months into it, I started to get a TON of blow-by and even a loss of boost from it. Honeslty I'd go with a good 331 stroker kit over a blower. (Adding the blower later of course)
Help this helps you.
