worn rack bushings

I noticed recently that my steering rack had some play in it. I had a buddy of mine help me check out what it was. It turns out that when i turn the steering wheel, the steering rack also moves. Looks like the bushings are worn out. My question is, would worn bushings make my car feel like it has bumpsteer and or soft steering or any vibration in steering wheel?

they are pretty easy to swap i just installed a new rack in about 4hrs with hand tools and it was my first time doing it

i had to replace the power steering hose today and it was hell. i wanted to yank out the whole rack.
