(The little black thingy)The throttle body (Tb) has a single blade that opens and closes when you push on the peddle. The TPS micro meters the air flow for smaller idle adjustments by ever so slightly turning open the TB blade. THIS CAN BE HINDERED by dirty and oily gunk that builds up AROUND sealing points of the Tb. (If you haven't clean this yet, do that.) If it's really bad, it can make the Tb blade stick closed.The IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE (IAC) can not be serviced. Replacement is you only option. If you do not have a CEL it's "more than likely" not that. In some cases of course it can be but always start your trouble shooting with the cheapest replacement parts first. (This includes, free cleaning of the Tb.) This handles the large metering of air flow from the point where you let off the throttle and the idle falls down to range.Your Mass Air Flow Meter (MAF) in it's stock location is on the far end of your intake tube and round, black and has a wide 5 wire harness plugged into it.Also, I wouldn't recommend trying to do a write up for people when you don't even know what a Tb is. I'm not hackin on you, just being honest, no matter if I'm coming across as a jerk or not.</blockquote>
