my friend has a problem, the rear axle on his 2000 v6 manual is crooked and must be replaced by another.
But here in Poland can not find any 99-04 and has a question whether it can mount the rear axle from 1995 v6 (this is available)
There are differences between them?
It is true that the 99-04 is wider?

i know the 8.8 is a lil wider not sure about the 7.5..it should fit tho.. all the mounts should be in the same place.. he might as well upgrade to the 8.8.if available

A 99-04 rear will fit but you might have issues with the lower control arm bolt fitting correctly on the rear end lower brackets, I believe you might have to drill it out to make it a tad bit bigger. The 99-04 8.8" rear end is wider than the 94-98 8.8" so I'm going to assume that the same can be said for the 7.5". You should be fine though on the width, its only 1/2" or 3/4" per side which shouldn't be too much as long as hes not using extremely wide wheels.

I think the brake line set up is different, but that's just coming from memory. You should be fine.

Mystic, that's a lady, no bro ;p

Brake lines are different from 94-98 to 99-04 cars but they do not attach to the rear axle whatsoever so there should be no problem at all.

Oh, and that's my bad, didn't know she was a lady lol I will make the correction right meow.

Lol I heart you :) And your car :)

OP, you should be alright. I'm anal and would tear it down and rebuild it before throwing it on. But honestly, it's worth trying to find an 8.8 and spend the extra dollar for a far superior rear end. I know it's hard to find things over seas though.
