finally going to slap this bad mofo on there! anybody want to throw out some guesses?

dart 408 (9.1) 240 TFS HP, cam is way off for this , TFS R intake 90mm, 90mm accufab tb, 1 7/8" to 3" headers to 3" x and 3" bassani race mufflers, heavy ass magnum t56, and finally paxton novi 2000 with stock pulleys. right now its in the area of 440/460. this is my first time supercharging a car and im might be expecting too much. but im hoping for 600 or more without changing pullies. think its possible? eventually after i replace the cam and have the meth kit installed.. id swap pulleys and get into 700-800 area.

Did you build your rear end at all? Anything past 500 HP sounds dangerous on a stock rear end...

My guess would be a little shy of 600... But it all depends on the tune and the fuel being used too.

youll be over 600 with no problem. Those heads are pretty much race heads. That car will make some damn good power when you get a custom cam in it and crank up the boost..

You should run E85 instead of water/meth.

IMO the blower is too small. I have a friend with a similar setup, but smaller cubes on a watercooled YSi. His put down over 800 to the tires.

Talk to your tuner on what they recommend. You could run it de-tuned a little, but what's the fun in that. I bet you'll have to pulley the 2000 just to make 10psi.

i already have the water/meth kit.. might as well run it. to run e85 id have to change things up.

i dont think its too small. im pretty sure the novi 2000 is compared to the Ti vortech. and can support over 900hp, my end goal is 800. and really i cant see myself waiting any more than that. this car will always be a street car!! it will see the drag strip, hopefully at least once a month. but still i enjoy driving it too much to make it a race car.

Novi 2000 is by no means small I know a guy with a stock bore 302 with tfs heads R intake and it made 600rwhp with a comp 284hr cam . That was at 18psi on a fresh rebuilt motor . How long will it last ? No clue it's prolly a ticking time bomb

No, for 600 it's fine. But for a built 408 to put it to potential is small IMO. I would run a bigger blower and less boost/rpm than a smaller blower.

if it's built right 7-800 should be in the cards. Remember that's almost 1000hp at the motor.

forgot to throw this up.. im still waiting on my final dyno sheet. it made 618/6xx over 6000rpms. and richv was right it didn't hit 10#s.. only 8. its prettys scary now. i still have a meth kit to install and i will buy some pulleys.. when and if i ever have feel like its not enough. for now im going to just ride! and this year ill be making some tnts for sure.

Yeah a local guy makes 600 on a sloppy auto he said with a manual he should be around 800... damned auto trannys
