I don't think you could go too wrong with any of the name brand tires. BFG, Goodyear, Michelin, etc. From what I've gathered on here probably stay away from Sumitomo unless you just want something cheap. Also some people have had good luck with Hankook.

For good all seasons I'd recommend Continental Extreme Contact DWS or Goodyear Eagle GT's. My dad's rwd benz has the Conti DWS's and they're amazing in any conditions. Obviously you can't drive them in bad snow but they hold their ground. I Got the Goodyear Eagle GT's on my 95 and they handle pretty well, no road noise and do great in the dry and wet. Not to mention they have a sick tread design too.

I'm not a big fan of pooched out sidewalls either. Would a 275 in the rear do that?

On a 8 inch yes. It's not as bad as you might think. Still looks more manly than 255s.

Are those 98 cobra wheels or Cobra R's? Hard to tell from my phone.

Also, to know if you have a 8 inch wide wheel for sure. Check the spacing behind the spokes. If in the center is got about an extra inch or so behind the spokes its 9 inches. if not. then 8.

17x8 on a 275:

Hard to tell from the angle, but that looks like a 255 on a 8" wheel. My 275s look A LOT wider.

I'm suprised you don't see a stamp on the wheel. They are usualy on the inside of a spoke with a ETxx for offset. I don't think I've ever seen a wheel without that info. Do they have a part # you could referance?

Well there you have it. I'm surprised they aren't too stretched.

275's all around will be perfect for you!

I should have measured them 1st but wasn't quite sure where to measure from. I think those 275's will look good all the way around. Anything is gonna be better than the wagon wheels I'm running now!
