theirs 100 foot drags this weekend and although im pretty much stock i was gonna run a 125 wet shot and put some mt's on the back but my question is.... will slicks be hard on a stock t-5? :dunno:

Damn that. Tremecs are out... BUILT T-5s that shift like stockers are whats hot in the streets right now. I've got a G-Force T-5 and I wouldn't trade it for any other 5 speed....unless it was for Astroperformance's new T5

My car is running the stock 8.8" with 3.73s, under drive pulleys, exhaust and a 150 dry shot and has yet to break, neither has the trans.
yeah i would get a gforce t5 before a tremec too. I always hear how big of a piece the t5 is, but i have romped the piss out of mine. I was drifting it for awihle when i first got it (drifter guys thought it was cool i could drift at 2500 rpm instead aof 7000), then i did some auto-x, and now i am back to drag racing it. I haven't broke mine yet. and trust me....drifting is super hard on shit lol.
