What's up everybody. So the block I'm having built is going to be internally balanced for my 95 gt. I am looking for an internally balanced flywheel. Need it ASAP too. Anybody know somebody who has 1?
I didn't know where to look cause the usual websites didn't have an internally balanced 157 tooth flywheel. So this is exactly what I'm looking for?Why not just buy a new one? I'm running ACT ProLite Flywheel. The advantage is that it's one piece, so it can be serviced cheaper, and no risk of any rivets loosening over time like it would be on most two piece clutches. Looks like this.
Beautiful. Exactly what I'm looking for thank you manhttp://www.summitracing.com/parts/acl-600412/overview/year/1994/make/ford/model/mustang
That's the exact flywheel that I'm using.
Be aware, this is lighter than stock by 33%, so it will take getting used to.
Thanks man. Caught up at work so I'll be calling first thing Monday.I'd call ACT directly. They usually can get stuff done quicker than Summit, just because they don't ship unless there is demand. You can also call summit and just ask them about flywheel you are looking for. It's nothing special at all, they should have something in stock.
I have one for sale. I ordered the wrong one. Installed it and it came back off after running for 5 minutes. I needed the stock balance one. Haha. I will sell it for $150 shipped. This is it.http://m.summitracing.com/parts/fms-m-6375-d302b
