1994 GT Aftermarket stereo install help

so i finally broke down last night and bought a pioneer stereo and the harness from walmart...well i have the wires together and plugged in right...i think...and the stereo gets power but i have nothing coming out of the speakers. i dont have the premium sound system, just the basic...everything worked before with the old stereo...anyone know of any write ups or anything? pictures help lol

what does the stock harness's look like? Are they both large rectangular(one grey one back) or is one a small square plug?

on the stock harness there is one grey and one black...on the schoche adapter harness there is one grey, one small black, and two other square shaped harness...my budy thinks i may have the wrong harness so hes gunna try and get one and see if that works

its a possibility that you don't have the mach 460, but you have the one with the amp in the dash. that's what I had. I did every possible wiring set up I could think of, until I finally just said screw it, and ran direct lines to each speaker off the harness.

Check to see if you have the amp, it looks like a gargantuan jumble of wires running to it and I believe it had square plugs.

no need to run new wire even with a premium sound. Let me know what the hrns's look like and we will take it from there.

there are a few different ways to wire it and some sound better then others. Was it the square hrns or the rectangular one?

ah well in that case, there is only one way to wire it up... The mach system has a few more options depending on how much you want to spend.
