Hey guys, my brother bought a 1994 mustang gt a couple weeks ago. Today while I was moving it I heard something fall from underneath the dash and it hit my foot. I look under to check it out and I see something hanging there and the clutch pedal is sitting up really high. I took a picture to show you guys what I'm talking about. I'm pretty sure it supposed to keep pressure on the quadrant, and thats why the pedal is sitting so high right now. If anyone has any diagrams that show where and how this is supposed to bolt back up, please let me know. Thanks.

Clutch always sits high in our cars.

Looks like the Clutch Safty switch to start the car. Maybe the brake light switch. not sure.

So how does it attach? It look like its just being kept in from the pressure of the quadrant?

the quadrant doesnt touch it, its held on by a spot weld or two. you are going to have to drill into the bracket and put a couple bolts through it to hold it up in there

Thanks Addermk2. I removed the pedal assembly and saw that there were 4 spot welds that broke. There were two existing holes that I was able to use to bolt it back on in the same position. Wonder why these werent used in the first place?! Thanks again.
