they were on it when i got it. i wanna get some aluminum polish and really make them shine

that looks pretty good for not using any cleaner on it.

get some 400-2,000 gritt packs of sand paper and Mother mad an alluminum polish, i've been going crazy with handpolishing stuff on my car, it's really not difficult and makes a world of difference. Probably the best $10 i've put towards my car in a little while, well $10 and a good amount of effort.
