Like the title says, today i was heading to work, the low coolant light came on, car overheated passing the H in the gauges. I open up the hood to see whats going on, 1st I noticed like a lil hole on the top side of the radiator shooting out coolant, so i open the radiator thing and everything just started coming out of it. Then i turned it on again after awhile after putting some water and white smoke started coming out the exhaust, and there was a loud clicking noise everytime a press the accelerator, Dunno what it is, I probably made the problem bigger by driving it to work... :crying:

White smoke is usually condensation, i suspect it may have overheated too much and you have blown one or both head gaskets but if it was'nt happening before you have a problem.
The clicking could be pinging which comes with overheating, get it checked out.

does the exhaust smell sweet (like antifreeze). like said before you've prob blown the head gaskets. sorry for the bad news and you're going to need a new rad too.

Ditto. Head gasket went. Mine had just a tiny little leak into the coolant port. Blew coolant out of radiator.

you'll need 2 head gaskets, intake manifold gasket, 2 exhaust manifold gaskets. the parts should not be to expensive. do you plan on doing it yourself?

studding my top end with lock wire felpros and all new bolts, $90 worth of oil and a filter and so on meant i prolly spent a good 6-700 or more on my gasket job, you can do it fairly cheap if you just put it back together with stock parts, minimum i would upgrade the head gaskets and swap out for arp head bolts instead of stock replacements from ford

I was planning on doing it myself but after a long talk with the dealership i bought it from they said they'll fix it at no charge, they just picked it up today, hopefully they can fix it quick..

Well thats good news, should save you a small fortune, did they offer, or did you have to get "heavy" with them?
