did my first burnout yesterday.. did it for a good 15 seconds or so. i had to stop thought because a car was coming.. i put it up to about 5500 and dropped the clutch but moved my foot over to quick so it got caught between the clutch and the brake.. i got on the brakes though and smoked em good.

i did it in a brand new neighborhood with no houses on Mustang Rd. so I had to do it.

i did get a video of it but my friend is dumb and recorded it to a dvd-r and i can't rip it off of it. so, i may do it really ghetto. im gonna put the dvd on my TV then record my TV so you guys can see it..

just thought id tell you guys. i also got new tires put on. Eagle F1's 275/40/18 on the rear and nankang 245/40/18 on the fronts. both have like 70-80% tread on them so should last a while. :thumb:

your going to like the eagle f1's. I have them and my friend has them on his vette. great wet traction, very soft tire.

I've got F1's on the rear of my car (295's) and they hook great. Awesome tires.

I did one for like 2 seconds before, I don't like doing them like that. I'd just rather do a straightline burnout.

i was outside a grocery store one nite, and was showing off my new line lock, making a nice big smoke screen, when a lady walked out of the store, and when the auto doors opened , it allowed the outside air sucked into the store, which was nothin but good ole burnt rubber. of course i let off the button, and make haste out of there, wish someone would have taped that, awesome

yeah thats the first time ive ever done one... i wont make a habit of it though. it was definitely fun no doubt though. i got the smoke going for a solid 10-15 seconds. it was good. i was afraid it wouldn't smoke cause i didn't have much tread but they sure proved me wrong... haha.

my friend is off work now so im about to call him up to get the video. i was gonna record it on my parents TV but they are watching it so i may have to do it on my friends tv.. ill bb in a bit with a video i hope.

I do way to many burnouts. My exhaust pipes, and rear fenders are caked in rubber.
