i am thinking of changing my exhaust but cant decide to stay 2 1/2 or go 3 inch. i have a 347 with n61 cam and about 10.5 comp,5speed and will be 4.10 gear with 150 shot. cam kicks in around 3 to 3500rpm. i have 1 5/8 equal mac shorty's, prochamber and 2 chamber flowmaster. was thinking of 1 3/4 mac long tubes and prochamber and mac cat back or dumps. if i stay with 2 1/2 IL keep the flows for now, if i go 3 inch IL go mac cat back. i shift around 62 to 6500rpm.

any suggestions would be great

I have 2.5's and I want to move up to 3'' tips jsut to get the look. My dad has 3.5 or 4" tips and they look HUGE on his car, so I say 3" for that perfect look.

safe to say on nitrous your making 550ish rwhp? That kinda on the border of 2.5 and 3in as far as gains that you would get from going up to 3in.....

I say go with the 1 3/4 long tubes and do the dumps.
