For starters, my car has no heat. It just blows luke warm air. I've tried everything I can to figure it out and nothing has solved my heating issue.

Also, my idle hangs really bad. I had a brand new IAC and EGR, I have a IAC restictor plate, and my idle still hangs at opperating temperature.

anyone have fixes for me?

Heater problem: Check what thermostat you are running. I had a similar problem when I was running a 160 degree thermostat. In the winter the coolant would run so cold that the heater would not make any heat. This especially sucked for cold morning drives.

Idle problem: Check if you have any vacuum leaks. One way is to scan and see if you have any codes. Another way is to spray the starter fluid around the engine vacuum lines while the car is idling and see if the idle will pick up. If the idle picks up, you have a leak. Also be very careful when you're doing this, because starter fluid is flameable.

What's there to go bad? When heater cores go bad, they just leak. Thats it.

take your inlet and outlet hoses off your heater core and connect a garden hose . shoot water in one side then the other and look for crap coming out. when the flow is good connect everything back up. it may be the little hose coming off the wp too (kinked)

heater cores clog up because retarded people use radiator stop leak, instead of just fixing the problem

get the car to operating temp and feel the heater core hoses. they both should be hot

if one is only semi-warm.... you have a clogged heater core

well heres where it gets odd, The temperature of the coolant leaving the radiator is 190 degrees. The inlet to the heat core is about 160, and the outlet is about 135.

when your testing the heat are you driving the car?. is the selector sw on heat or vent. is the fan blower working on all speeds. try driving the car with the sw on vent and see if you get anything. does the small hose off the water pump have a hard kink in it. i think that one goes to the heater core.
