If you drive it in winter, I highly advise NOT doing a HCI swap, especially in the Prairies where we live. My car won't start in anything below -10*c anymore lol. I would do a supercharger or HCI though .
HCI + Nitrous sounds like a good plan to me. My '94 went 8.00@88 in the eighth with o/r H pipe, straight throw mufflers and 3.73s on a 150 dry shot with low bottle pressure. Good for 12.70s or so in the quarter. Throw some aluminum heads, intake manifold, and a proper cam into the mix and you'll have an easy 11 second ride if you drive it right!
i have long tube headedrs off road mid pipe mac cat back and a cai are the only mods i have right now. my car is definately not a winter driver lol i got a little beater truck for that. oh and i have clear headlights already too. im thinkin of probably doin a hci swap. ive also been thinking of gears but not sure about them. i really wanna supercharger but i think i'll save that for the summer when i have a bit more cash saved. are gears hard to install ?
Have a pro install your gears. I went with a blower first because for me it's hard to save that much money at a time, I can just put the HCI together piece by piece.
On my car I am doing H/C/I and eventually gears. Maybe one day down the road I'll slap a vortech on or something and call it a day.
Just a six, but still the same concept.
Im not into spray for power, but I do know its effective.
