For XMAS I am going to do alot of cosmetic things since I have lately been doing brakes and powertrain upgrades.

1. FR500 silver wheels 17x9
2. Audiobahn Component Speakers with Sony Headunit and Pioneer 4-Chan Amp
3. HID 6000k conversion kit (installed in my stock style housings)
4. Bassani mufflers
5. 3 1/2" X 18" SS Rolled Edge Exhaust Tips

I think that will complete my exterior until B-day comes around and it will then be time for the Saleen Spoiler!!!!

might as well get the x3...

It is the same price. I don't think there is any disadvantage to it over the xcal2. It's just newer.

how much are the tips and do you have a link? i need new tips.

There are several places I am looking at that have nice tips I think.....

http://www.sss-exhaust.com/tips.htm

http://store.summitracing.com/partd...783510+4294903613+4294783516+115&autoview=sku

I really Like the Summit ones, they are all basically the same price by the time you ship them. I installed the Summit tips on my old truck about 5 years ago and they still to this day look brand new!!!!

Good Luck with your list!!

3. HID 6000k conversion kit (installed in my stock style housings)
you're fired. Do a retrofit, not a 'conversion'. It will throw HID light friggin EVERYWHERE. Do it right or dont do it at all. My .02

Let me understand this correctly, if I just install an HID kit on my stock style after market housings it will not be good? So I need to retrofit some from like an Audi or BMW, or go projectors(which I am not doing). Just trying to get a grasp on this HID stuff.

Basically yea, The HID 'kits' are a really bad idea. I dont care how low you aim them the design is TOTALLY different. Halogen bulbs are designed not to shine on the 'top half', so as not to blind people. HIDs have the little eye lid type housing, it cuts off the top half of the light when normal lights and exposes all of it when using hi-beams.

read through that site and you will understand. The glare off of an HID kit is rediculous. Although i think there are 'special' HID bulbs that are designed to work like halogen bulbs, but im not sure on that one. So in short, HID kits scatter light/glare(what blinds people). HID retrofits DO NOT and are BA, because you get complete functionality of HIDs. I hope that clears something up, probably not but thats how my night is haha
