I dont care how low you aim them the design is TOTALLY different. Halogen bulbs are designed not to shine on the 'top half', so as not to blind people. The glare off of an HID kit is rediculous. Although i think there are 'special' HID bulbs that are designed to work like halogen bulbs, but im not sure on that one. So in short, HID kits scatter light/glare(what blinds people). HID retrofits DO NOT and are BA, because you get complete functionality of HIDs. I hope that clears something up, probably not but thats how my night is haha</blockquote>
