It says its an artists rendering of what it might look like... the second pic is def. an ugly chop. If that's how its really gonna look then they didn't change it nearly enough.

Overall I think the Camaro is better looking. I thought that Italian Mustang that was designed looks way better than the current pile.

both are fake....

i seriously doubt ford would be driving a "2009" stang around unmasked.. and they both look like crap. they photoshopped the first picture too. unless the angle is just weird because that car looks like it should be drifting sideways. they just added a radial blur to the wheels.

lol those comparisons look nothing alike.... haha

the fender on the european mustang or w/e it was (forgot the dudes name that designed it) is wayyyy bigger than the masked one..

and the nose goes down further and doesn't have the same bucket shape for the headlights... :hammer:

I swear to god I'm gonna blw a flippin gasket if Ford doesn't sack up and put a real motor in the damn Mustang, WTH do they think 350 will cut it? There are Nissan's with nearly that power, they are so gonna get blow out of the water byt the Challenger and Camaro, in sales and on the street, it's sad, I'm gonna go pout now. All Ford will say is "If you want to out-gun them, buy a Shelby" too, I'm tired of that damn answer, ever since 1996. :slap:

Ford should just have a stripped down no frills model. Cloth seats, rubber floor mats, manual windows, ect. but give it a high horse power engine. eliminating all the bs from the car will bring down the price. Thats what chevy and dodge used to do in the 60's and 70's. So this way you are just getting a body and a high horse power engine ( say 450 hp ) for like say 25,000 dollars. This is the reason so many cars are so damded expensive now to much crap in them you don't need or want

Amen! Electric windows, electric locks, remote locks, A/C, anti-lock brakes, and many other's that you youngin's have grown up with and are used to as being the "normal" auto equipment. LOL Can you do without them?

I've seen the next Mustang and those renderings are not it. Also, if they had to use an artist's rendering of the car how can you know that the engine will be rated at 350? Where did that info come from, or are they speculating?

Also, if the Mustang does come with 350 HP it seems that I have seen a lot of Mustangers dig on the present Charger because even though it out powers the Mustang GT it weighs a lot more and this is the reason for the Mustang usually taking the win at the track. Perhaps Ford is positioning themselves just ahead of the others in considering the weight advantage the Mustang has? Just a theory.

What Mustang they come up with, I'm sure the Camaro, Challenger, and eventually the Cuda will smash it in every way - except sales of course, Ford buyers haven't come to expect much performance from their pony cars.

Good point O0
Also just because it may have only have 350hp doesn't mean it's gone be at the bottom of the list in terms of performance. Maybe Ford will be smart and throw in some 3.73's or something. Maybe they'll reduce the weight. Who knows? Don't count it out yet. It's all just here-say.
