Anyone have any opinions? I have been looking into one for a more family oriented car and so far I like them. Just dont know what you guys all think about it.

I think they are nice little cars. I saw on a commercial that they can open and close their grill vents, thought that was pretty cool. Would it be a replacement for the SHO?

I love em from what i've seen. I'm going to the Dallas Auto Show on sunday and hopefully i'll be able to sit in one.. I'll tell you what I think. Might even go test drive one at the local stealership soon since they got one.

Basically I found a buyer for my SHO and Im making money off of it. I make a bit more now that Ive been promoted and Im looking for a good Gas car as a DD... Although the SHO was OK, it still sucks gas.

I like them but I'd be skeptical about buying a brand new one. The first ones that came out are selling for $2k and people still owe thousands and thousands on them. These look a lot better than the old ones but still

had one a few weeks back from michigan in my showroom.. I mean i saw it at the philly auto show before hand but it was just up on a platform.. Once i saw this up close and the interior(fully loaded).. i was very surprised.. I couldnt get over how cool it was.. I would deffinately get one..

With the way ford is now, how could you even be skeptical about buying a brand new one?
Thats like saying, people are selling thier old Taurus for a few K, but ide be skeptical about buying a new one just for that reason.. Cant really judge a car in 2011 based on something that came out in 98..

Look to 2013 or so for a performance version.. or maybe 2012.. i dunno but in the near future.

That's the buyer's fault, not Ford's. Anybody that still owes that much on that kind of car that old messed up.

I believer the Focus ST is comin 2012 and the thing looks SICK, gonna fly too.

Not only because people owe money on them still, but the old ones sucked real bad. My local pick your part is littered with them. I'm just saying if it were ME I'd wait at least a year to see how they turn out.

Like it a lot. Had a 2002 model I liked. I'd have to have a performance model.

I hate hatchbacks. And The price point would be too much if ford is thinking about Recaro seats and a 1.6 ecoboost engine. And Im looking for good gas mileage, not speed.

How do you expect to get crappy gas milage (specially when compared to your SHO) when it is an ecoboost engine? They are meant to get good gas milage and still perform like larger engines.

Drove the new F-150 before i left ford. That thing PULLS!!!

Anyway... The new focus doesnt even have an ecoboost engine in its lineup(yet) anyway.. They all share the same 2.0 DI I4 which nets you 27/37mpg.. Ide say spend the extra loot and get the fully loaded Titanium which starts at around 22. When i saw it in person, i couldnt belive it man. These things are sweet and I would choose one over a fiesta any day of the week and would love to drive one personally. They come in hatchback and sedan.

Or wait till 2012 for the ST.. Which my god... I would LOVE to have..
Used to own a focus that my step brother turned into an SVT focus.. Sold it to a friend, and some girl doing 40 in a 25 smashed into it with an old thunderbird(while he was at the mall and it was parked out front of his house). The engine was pushed into the front seats; it pushed the car over the curb into his parents Sable(totaled it) and 30 ft down the sidewalk. Girls uncle was a cop, she recieved no tickets..
Also had the cars not been there. She would have gone through a fence into his neighbors inground pool..
Luckily insurance paid for all the parts on the car. I still miss that car. I would LOVE another one..

Theyre the European based models now, and are pretty much big Fiesta's. Not saying they arent a nice car though. I'm waiting for the 4cyl Eco Boost!

They are MUCH nicer then the fiestas...sooo much better

I cannot stand the fiestas... I hate where all the controls are and could not get used to it..

I got used to the new Fordtouch crap with all the screens quicker..

Yeah, the Fiesta has a strange dash control design. The Focus is definitely nicer, but comparing the two, you can tell theyre very closely related. Maybe its the way theyre both European based cars. Just the feel of them..

The new Ford Touch stuff is pretty cool!

They have definitely stepped it up in the last year or two. The new Explorer is also pretty awesome. The Eco Boost Flex? Amazing. The Eco Boost F150!? Even more fun!! Its a kick in the ass that you dont expect out of a truck. Oh, and those Mustangs, they're alright too. haha.

Here is a post from another site I visit...look at the option list! This ain't no regular Focus anymore & it isn't even the ST Ecoboost yet!!

I ordered a Black on Black 5 door with every option they offered. (Except two tone interior ... not a big fan of it)

1.Titanium Handling Package
2.Auto Park
3.Dual Clutch 6 Speed Automatic (gets better mpgs than the 5 speed stick)
4.Winter Package
5.Moonroof
6.18" Alloys with performance summer tires
7.Stainless Sill Plates
8.Voice Activated SatNav
9.Sirius and Sony HD Radio
10.Sync
11.Leather Sport Buckets
12.Remote Start
13.Rear Camera
14.Auto Wipers
15.Heated Seats
16.Dual Climate Control
17.and more!

This thing has more creature comforts than my 2002 Lincoln LS had ... and almost 40 MPG! The 18" wheels and other options kill an mpg or two compared to the highest mpg Focus.

I went online a month ago and"built it" and Ford sent me a $750.00 rebate in the mail that I was able to use on top of the other promotions Ford had. I got the "best price" first and than showed them the Ford Rebate
