2015 New Mustang?

A Ford styling concept just released...but kinda shows Fords thinking on styling for the future..

So I was riding the bike with my kids today and a 2012 Boss 302 in Yellow Blaze pulls into a driveway. I have seen several new stangs sitting there and this one had manufactures plates. So I yelled at him that I was very envious so we started to chat up the color and the future of the mustang. He is an engineer on the drivetrain for the Mustang and gets the privilege of driving them home to record mileage, performance, etc. I told him it was my probably unachievable dream to be able to buy a Boss 302, which he says will stick around for 2013, but not in Yellow Blaze, (tear) but unsure about 2014 Boss'. I said I might wait til 2014 to buy a Mustang anyway, and he said I should wait til 2015 for the 50th anniversary edition. How does that make sense? 35th anniversary was 1999 and 40th were 2004's. so what? I suppose he could be wrong, just because he is an engineer on the team doesn't make him an enthusiast right? Anyway, he said that is when the sheet metal will change, and probably when there will be improvements to the Coyote 5.0. So, I'm collecting loose change, if anyone wants to get rid of their couch money.

If you read the back, it says EVOS, it's not a concept mustang people, or even remotely close to it...

Rocketships, like those new Acura TL's. They look like they would take me into space and I'm not saying that in a good way.

No, the OP made no mention that the picture was a supposed Mustang, just a general Ford concept having nothing to do with the Mustang, but from where you may see Mustang styling cues originate.

I DID read an article a couple days ago claiming the 2013 Mustang was getting another refresh already, with a more prominent grille to look like the GT500. Not sure if that was a credible source.

That thing is fuck ugly. If it is a Mustang, can you really call that a muscle car? I don't think getting modern is a bad thing, but the bodies of cars are getting uglier and uglier.

I'd say the bodies of cars are getting better, as they finally drop the soap bar styling and give them crisp lines (new Benzes, etc.).

I loved living on the east side of phoenix as the proving grounds were not far away and it was not uncommon to see the test cars out driving. They were easy to see as they were normally painted in a lepard skin, ugly paint job to try and hide the body lines. Back it 03 I saw my first comming up and wondered who the hell did that to a car, until it drove by and I saw the back and and imediatly recognized it as the 05 stang that was still due out. I started keeping a camera in my car after that but was only able to get the fusion about a year early.

I think its hot, has an Audi type look to it. Like everyone else said its obv not a mustang concept and if it is, we should storm Ford like an angry PETA group and kidnap any piece of paper that even thinks to mention it and make them start all over. Otherwise if that was a turbo4 wrx/evo competitor I would think it would sell well

the op's pics look like a Taurus successor.

Their have already been pics on the interwebz proving that the new 5.0 heads already have castings for direct injection. That could be worth like 50 hp flywheel, so I'm pretty positive that will be the hp bump in the 50th edition.

Never claimed this concept WAS a Mustang hence the ? in the Title...& if you cannot see Mustang styling cues all over that front end you are blind! It is the right size 108" wheelbase , 10" shorter that the S197's & is a test for Ford to see reactions to the styling! That is all & I bet you will see some part of this on the next Mustang...
