I wasn't really looking for these but a deal on the Ford GT lash adjusters fell in my lap. Only way you can run run them in a 2V is with the matching Ford GT followers, so I found them at MMR for a great price.

These will work nicely in my Trick Flow heads.

For those that don't know the benefit;

The followers are 5g lighter (each) than the stock followers.
The have 25% more oiling capability.
They are good for @5rwhp under 7k, more over 7k.

I bought these for the superior oiling to the camshaft.
I am most likely getting my cams from L&M Racing and they are not cheap!!!

I think it's been about 10-12 collective years on these forums and neither one of us has had our car running at the same time haha

Mine runs, I just got tired of driving it so it sat for a while :( Now I need to get it up on the stands and give it a good inspection before I decide if I am using it or not. Kind of afraid I might have to replace the brake and fuel lines.

Who are you going with for cams? Every time I turn around L&M goes up in price. I haven't talked to Scott Cushman yet.

i think I'm about 99% set on going with MHS Gen 2 stage 3 turbo cams. They are very close to CMS stage 2.5's. Yeah last I looked L&M was $800 for cams....a bit crazy if you ask me

I have the followers, same deal- cheap. So any more information on how to use them would be nice. My adjusters are new stock ons that were 6.00 each.

I am sure CMS etc have figured out any issues that were present with using TF heads. I will give Cushman a call before I buy cams.

L&M, CMS, and MHS are all aware of the reverse lobe design. L&M was just the one to first discover it. I've talked to Jim from CMS and Jordan from MHS about it

Let me see if I can explain this. Lash adjusters are tiny hydraulic spring absorbers that have zero actuation. Well actually they do. Its called bleed down.

As the cam lobe applys pressure to the follower, the lasher begins to compress into its bleed down untill its bottomed out. The cam lobe advances more pressure finally compressing the valve and spring. Now here is the thing. Lashers have a job to do and they do their job well when being supplied the proper weighted fluid. As we know the fluid is used to control its damping rate. Since Gt exhaust lashers are designed for a heavier 5w50 oil. Why 5w50? Because of the Gt intake lasher. Its half the size of the exhaust lasher and must be able to do its job double duty. The intake port is raised needing a tiny lasher. Tiny lasher to do its job needs a heavier weight fluid, their for the Gt exhaust lasher has to be designed for the appropriate weight fluid as well. Since gt lasher bleed rate is designed for 5w50, using thinner 5w20 will alter the bleed rate. Ultimately delaying exhaust opening point.....a good thing at high rpm's. This is more of a fluid like motion that words could not put into perspective.

So there is lashadjusters for exhaust that are different from intake?
