Plenty of people have gone consistently fast on stock blocks. Im sure there are less then 5 people on this site that will ever make enough power to split a stock block. To be honest most of the get hurt because of a crappy tune rattling the motor or being over spun well past where they should have been run in the first place. My stock short block went consistant low 11s, high 10s and was blown for at least 5 years. 126-128 mph with the weight of the car is well over 550 rwhp.
