I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but I suggest you save your money and slow your roll a bit. It's kind of obvious you have only the faintest idea of what you're doing and some money burning a hole in your pocket, which makes you a ripe target to take advantage of...

First thing's first, why do you think your motor needs to be refreshed?

And if you do, why is the very next thing you asked, "can I buy a compromise kit so I still have some money left over for a poweradder".

To answer your questions though, without the advice...

1. There are better than Trickflow kits available... Some Canfield head's, a used Systemax intake and decent cam will get you where you want to be.

2. No, the kit is not a bolt on for your SN car. Second, it will make about 280-300 at the flywheel.

Pure mecanically, it is a bolt on, more or less. realistically, you will need a tune, fuel injectors, MAF to match, prolly a bigger fuel pump and some sort of ignition box to make the H/C/I work well in your car. not to mention a heavy duty clutch and motor mounts.

You would need the elbow for SN cars, and im not sure if the timing cover gaskets are the same, since the covers are different from the foxes. Just a thing or two to keep in mind.

The timing cover gaskets are the same, but the water pump is different, and if you convert to a Fox style TB, you dont need the stupid elbow. the throttle cables and bracket are cheaper than the elbow in most cases..

Yea, the Gt-40 kit will put you around 280 rwhp, problem with that kit is mainly the heads, GT-40 iron heads aren't the greatest, only marginally better than stock. The Ecam, while good in its hay day, is kind of outdated by modern standards, but still a good cam, and does match the setup. The kit also isn't a direct drop in, you will have to toy with a few things to make it fit, remember 94/95 5.0s, are pretty much totally different from 87-93, so things for a 93 back aren't always a direct fit for the 94/95, they can generally be "made" to work, but aside from that, most things, aside for heads and lower intakes (upper require either the elbow adaptor or 93 back conversion), won't just drop in.

don't waste your time on used heads unless they are from a machine shop and you know what the deck / cc is... not everyone is honest and you could wind up with a head that has had a lot of material taken off.

What about GT40x heads, Cobra U/L intake, e303 cam? 1100$ shipped brand new for the heads, 400$ new for the intake, 200$ for the cam so 1700$ for this combo...
