yes you can. you would be better off finding 5.0 SN95 car though and then doing the swap.

Or even better get a Mach 1 engine and swap it,then later down the road get a S/C, its a straight swap.

It would be easier and more cost effective to bolt up a
supercharger or install a four valve motor instead.

but with the 4v swap dont you have to change the wiring?

I believe it is just 3 wires that have to be extended.

I agree with the 351 and its basically the same as the 5.0 SN95 the buggest part is the tubular K-member and i am doing a carbed 351 to get rid of some of the wiring and go back to the olds school ideas behind the 351 and the mustang. But the 351 swap is basically the same as the 5.0 to 351 swap

Saleen did it, of course, with the S351s.
They started with V6 cars.
I've done alot of research but haven't found anything on the PCM wiring work that would have been needed.

Ford did it with the 95R's which is what mine has in it

351W FTW!!

One of my favorite machines of all times :thumb:

But it gets trickier for the mod motor cars because of the fact that they went to OBD-II systems and didn't have distributors.
I eventually came to the same conclusion as most here......that is, start with a 94-95 if you just have to have pushrods
