I have a 95 GT and we pulled the pulled the 302 to make room for a 351W. The Windsor is a stock block motor with good internals, Out of the box Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads with 1.6s, Comp Cams flat tappet cam i think 500 lift or so, Trick Flow upper and lower, 75mm tb, 30lb injs, Pro M mas, u get the idea. Anyway heres the deal, the engine is producing an extremley large amount of heat for some reson. Idk if this is normal or what. We fired the car up yesterday for the first time to let it idle whlie we checked timing, fuel pressure, etc. Even with the temp guage showing 180 or so the enigine is really really hot like headers glowing red hot. And when u give it any throttle it acts like its trying to turn up to first kind of like when u have to much timing. The timing is at 10 with the pill out. Is this heat a problem or what. Like I said its been a while since I've been on here cuz Ive been tied up working on the car so idk if anyone else has had this problem. But any help would be great! Thanks</p></blockquote><p></p>
