So quick question for everyone. My 03 has 143k on it and the fluid has never been changed in the trans. I know it takes auto trans fluid. My question is the pros and cons. Some people have told me its no good to change the fluid in a high mileage trans and some people say to do it. Next question is if the consensus is to do it, what fluid to use? Is trick shift good for them? I've hear the gm brand auto trans fluid is really good for em. Thoughts??

Lol throw out bearings are a *****. I put a new clutch/pressure plate and tob in about 15-20k ago and the thing started squeaking a few days ago.

That link is pretty interesting. I noticed its a bit old. Under filling the trans wouldn't cause any overheating problems for lengthy drives? My bad for the questions transmissions aren't my thing.
