Ya, it was the base engine for the longest time, I don't know when they got rid of it but it was like the ultimate "cheap" engine for the F150. I know the windstar/freestar also had the 4.2L and the E150 vans, probably was in a few other base models as well.

yep, alot of Fleet F-150's had them so they arent too hard to find
