Do you know the part number for the hose? What hose would I tell them it is when I go to buy it?

Did you remove the oil cooler assembly? because the lines go under the block near the oil filter, thats what I was asking about the ends of the lines.

All i did was i went into Advance Auto and told them I needed a coolant hose from the water pump to the heater core line for a GT. He brought out a few and i picked the one that was the appropriate size. Yes i removed all the oil cooler parts. The lines go down to the oil cooler, unscrew the oil filter and you'll see a hex head that will allow you to unscrew the cooler from the block.

yup, when you remove the oil cooler it'll leave you with a threaded bit just like you have now, but instead of being on the oil cooler it'll be straight on the block. I now use the GT oil filter, it's almost twice the size of the Cobra one.

Bottom Left in this pic you'll see the block w/o the oil cooler:

Yea the GT filter is a lot bigger. Thanks for the help Onyx! I'll be deleting it very soon. I just gotta get the damn hoses off, they're so damn tight. I dont think they've ever been removed lol.

Just got all the hoses and lines out and took the filter off... what hex bolt are u referring to to take the oil cooler off? Is it the big ass one that is in the pic or is it somewhere else? If it is the big one, how big is it because ill have to buy the tool to take it off, i dont have a socket that big.

Just use a big adjustable wrench or channel locks to loosen it, and you can probably get it out with your fingers.

Or go buy a set of big sockets and wrenches.

Awesome man!

Because of all of the requests, I was even able to get my friend to agree to make some more of the gauge plates. There have been a bunch of people PM'ing me about it. We need to get pictures of all the finished installs together in one thread.
