I bought a set of 5.4 2v pi heads and trying to decide what cams to put in them. I currently have the heads in the machine shop getting a street/strip port and polish. I have a pi intake new upper 75mm throttle and running a supercharger. I been looking at trick flows stage 2 cams and comps thumpers.
How about some input on you mod freaks this will be my first build. :headbang:

Comp 270's work we'll, good power band, flat torque.....I liked them, search 12secsn95 on youTube and hear the old setup...

Youll be far better off just stay n/a with some thumpity cams! No headache of all the extra beefed up force induction have to's. Not to mention a lot cheaper!

If you are going blower than why not get some custom grinds done for @ the same cost? Check and see what the lightning crowd is running and don't just settle for an off the shelf set that is designed for use in a N/A 4.6.

The 270's work well in boosted apps but you can do better, and the 274's are NPI cams they work but again you can do better.

Call/Email JLP or CMS etc and see what they suggest to best take advantage of the added cubes and boost.

JLP won't give out their specs... but I plan on getting a can profile done on them in January.... cms sound basses too me but the JLPs are the go to cams for most lightning owners

Contact cms and ask them what they can offer you. Seems you have time and money so just do it right.
