Curious how far this project got. did you @96blak54 get it running?

Stupid me thought i could get the big hole size on par with my capabilities instead of sending them out to be honed. Long story short, it was a fail. Now i have to set the rods up and take some material off the rod and cap mating surfaces so that i can remachine it to a smaller size before sending them out to be honed.

Yes! And that is to know my limits! Im sure you are discovering new practices everytime with your machines. Everday is school time when machining!
