alright, i just picked up the pedal assembly and the boot/console piece. I just need a quadrant, lower trans/body boot, cable, shifter, and clutch assembly.

For the lower boot assembly, i have a lower boot assembly from a T-5. Can I use that for the lower boot? i heard that the T-5 and T-45 are almost the same.

is the auto and manual trans mounts the same? the trans mount on my car is brand new, not more than a few months old....

Any tips/tricks, advisories i should know about? Might start on it this weekend.....install the pedals at least, know that one is gonna take a long while, gotta be a contortionist to get under that dash...lol

Thanks guys!

I'm not 100% sure... but...

I do think that the T5 stuff will work on the T45

and I believe that the the t45 cross member is different from the AOD...

I'm sorry... I forgot the 'E'... lol,

What you have is a 4R70W which is an improved AODE
There are two versions of the 4R70, one has a low first gear (the W designation) and the car version without.
The difference between the AOD and AODE is the AOD is only hydraulic operated, while the AODE is a combination of hydraulic and computer operated.

lol... kinda off topic, but there ya go

Automatic/Manual GTs have the same crossmembers, cobras were different.
You'll still need a different block plate.

Pull the driver's seat out, should make it alot easier to get under the dash.
