I should have done a 5.4... You may kick me now.
My friend just did a 4.6 stroker 4v DOHC and made 380RWHP, but I do not know what cams he used?

Idk...the 5.4l is heavy! However you would have loved the torque!

That's why I did a Boss block on my last build. I still to deal with added weight, but the torque made up for it.

The LS weighs the same as the lightest aluminum 4.6, I do not think the 32V DOHC is worth the time and money, Ive done 3. IMO a 5.4 3V is the best low price/hi HP potential. Flame on..

Looking around I find reman 3V 5.4 for 2000.00, add a blower of your choice for 5k and your at 1/2 of what I spent. A lot of what I put up with on my 4.6 NA build is nostalgia.. I remember my car when I custom ordered it and it was the same set up to the 4.5 liter Mercedes Benz engine and I got to drive those cars every day when I worked dealer. MB did a better job on their auto transmission and those cars would melt tires and move out.

Holy moly! All us little brains here are on the cutting edge. The latest HotRod mag just got here with the Ford/Chevy hybrid engine on the cover, all the crap we are figuring out is TRUE. I just wish my finger and lips moved faster so I could read quicker. Ls block with Ford heads, small cam for more pressure, 416 CID X 6500RPM = 636 HP NA with high vacuum signal on 91 octane. This is starting to get interesting...
