The ideas behind the Tyrell P34 don?t necessarily translate to the C6W, though Ferruccio Covini, the company?s founder, gives the following reasons for creating his modern-day six-wheeler:

? Less risk of front tires deflating
? Less risk of aquaplaning
? Better braking
? Better grip
? Better comfort
? Better absorption of frontal impact

They forgot that it makes it look ugly as hell.

the tyrell was a work of art and having seen it run in person its very awesome to see that contraption get around the track.

now this on the other hand, not so great:

i can understand all of his reasonings:
Less risk of front tires deflating
Less risk of aquaplaning
Better braking
Better grip
Better comfort
Better absorption of frontal impact

except the first one.. it wouldn't have less risk of deflating tires, but rather less of a noticeable driver feel if one tire were
to loose significant pressure, (much like a dually truck, if the inner RR tire goes flat, the outer RR will keep the truck up to height)
the other five are basically advantages of better tires, but 6 tires to contact the road as apposed to 4 will help on just about everything,
except your wallet when they get bald.

i'd rather have a good looking car than all those things...

Looks like something from a '50s era "future cars" commercial. I'll park it in my helo port with my flying car and then order up some take out through my refrigerator that has a conveyor belt to and from the local fast food places...... I'm serious.
