so my plans are as follows

1994 v6 chassis
9 inch rear with 3.25 gears
tubular k member
cage of course, but still want it to be full interior
557 bbf with a monster turbo on e85
c-6 trans with a 4000 stall

i was gonna build a 4v with a carb and turbo but this new route will make this goal more in my budget range. one of my families other cars that i built has a 514 making 757 at the flywheels. so with the extra inches and a big turbo im going for 900-1000 at the flywheel. this should put me in the 9.50 range. im sure there will be alot of tuning and gear changing. but this is the fun of the game. i will start posting pics whenever i get started. but this will be a long, drawn out process. so dont plan on seeing this out on the streets anytime soon.

I was think about a bbf >500cu stroker; the parts are a lot less expensive than other parts. Sounds like a good build.

Not sure you'll even be able to drive it on the streets and if you were to, it would be a bear with a 4k stall. You going with a trans brake as well? Also your gearing doesnt seem correct for those times

Why would that combo be undriveable on the street? 4k is less than some. With 900-1000 horse turbo what calculation says that a 3.25 gear can't achieve 9.50?

Yea that gearing is fine with a turbo setup. Most big hp turbo setups are setup with a relatively high stall. Sounds like it
Should be a fun a street car. Possibly with a mm cage and some bars added you could keep the interior.

4K stall in a non-lockup transmission will be a bitch to drive on the street, but not impossible. It's definitely not something you could drive for an hour on the highway, but for short jaunts to the cruise spot where you can let it cool down, you'll be fine. Just make sure you monitor transmission fluid temperatures, because without the lockup function, if you're not at 4k rpm the converter will always be slipping, which means building up heat that will destroy the transmission if you don't watch it.

That's why I love electronically controlled, lockup converters. You can run as much converter as you want, but then tune it to lock at part throttle, where it'll just act like a stock converter.

Sounds like a monster build, what are your plans for the suspension?

Good point. Big trans cooler with fan will help with trans temps.
